Syston, Leicestershire
Syston town is located on the A607 (original) in the
middle between Leicester and Melton Mowbray.
It is about 6 miles to Leicester City centre, 6 miles to
Melton Mowbray and about 10 miles from
Loughborough, 20 mins from Nottingham
Syston has it’s own train station and regular buses.
The name Syston, according to legend, originates
from the term “Site Stone” which is a stone where
people used to meet up twice a year and settle
disputes. Syston also has it’s own plum named after it.
If you need to stay in Syston it has a small bed &
breakfast / guest house so you are never to far away
from anything if you need a place to say.
